Frequently Asked Questions

What time is check-in and check-out?
Check-in time is from 3pm and check-out time is 11am.

On your day of departure please vacate your room on time and settle your extras account at reception. If you want to stay a bit later, please ask at reception (subject to availability) and we will do our best to accommodate you.

On check in we will pre-authorise a card to the value of £50.

Is there a car park on-site?
Yes, there is ample free parking.

Is there a dress code at the Hotel or in the Restaurants?
We do not have a strict dress code and are informal in style. When dining in our brasserie 1760, many guests choose to dress up a bit, but we will leave that up to you. 

How far are you from Rutland Water?
You can walk to the North Shore (Barnsdale Car Park) in 10-15 minutes, or drive there in under five minutes.

Do you accept dogs?
Well behaved dogs over the age of one are very welcome.

There is a charge of £20 on a 2 night basis. A maximum of 2 dogs per room. We provide a dog welcome pack on arrival. Dogs must not be left in the room unattended.
